Gas work is not a DIY job — and not a job for a general handyman.
A water leak ruins a floor. A gas leak can level a house. That's why Texas requires a licensed plumber for gas line work, and why we treat every gas call — install, repair, or leak — with the seriousness it deserves. Our techs are licensed, our work is permitted and inspected, and we pressure-test every line before we turn the gas back on.
What we do.
Gas leak detection
Electronic detection and pressure-isolation testing to pinpoint leaks in exposed, buried, and concealed lines — before we open anything up.
Gas line repair
Corroded, damaged, or leaking sections repaired or replaced to code, then pressure-tested and inspected.
New gas line installation
New runs for ranges, water heaters, furnaces, dryers, pool heaters, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and standby generators.
Appliance hook-ups
Safe connection and leak-testing for any gas appliance — sized for the right BTU load, permitted, and verified.
Why gas leaks happen in DFW homes.
- Corrosion. Older black-iron gas lines rust from the inside over decades, especially where they pass through damp soil or slab.
- Ground movement. DFW's expansive clay shifts with every drought-and-rain cycle, stressing buried lines and joints.
- Bad past work. We find a lot of leaks at connections that were never properly sealed or pressure-tested by whoever did the original job.
- Appliance connections. Flex connectors behind ranges and dryers wear out, kink, or get knocked loose.
Permitted, pressure-tested, and inspected — every time.
Gas is the one trade where cutting corners can be fatal, so we don't. Every gas job we do is permitted with the city, pressure-tested to confirm the system holds, and signed off by inspection where required. You get documentation for your records and peace of mind that it was done right.
